Alternative Routes for Von Maur and Cinema Patrons at College Square

COLLEGE SQUARE MALL (Cedar Falls, IA)…Due to the construction of the new Hy-Vee store at College Square Mall, the rear lot access road adjacent to the existing Hy-Vee will be temporarily closed.  Alternative routes are suggested during the time period.  Shoppers who wish to access the exterior entrances of Von Maur and the College Square Theatre may do so by entering mall property from the rear (South) entrance. 

When traveling on University Avenue (East) towards Waterloo, turn right (South) on Boulder Drive to Maplewood Drive.  Turn left (East) on Maplewood Drive.  Turn left at main rear mall entrance.

When traveling on University Avenue (West) towards Cedar Falls and the University of Northern Iowa enter mall property turning left (South) on Valley Park Drive at Hy-Vee Gas.  Turn right (West) and follow the access road past Hy-Vee to Boulder Drive.  Turn left (South) on Boulder Drive to Maplewood Drive.  Turn left (East) on Maplewood Drive.  Turn left at main rear mall entrance.

College Square apologizes for any inconvenience and anticipates the closure to last approximately six months.  The new Hy-Vee is set to open during the fourth quarter of 2006.

College Square Mall, located at 6301 University Avenue, features Von Maur, Younkers, Scheels All Sports, a 65-seat food court and an eight-screen all-stadium theatre.  The shopping center is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.  More information about stores, services and events can be found on the center’s website at www.collegesquare.com.
